Yeah, alot of the lines started in ways that I might have interpreted in very bad ways if I hadn't heard all of it. Also, it was written in a sterner way, which most analysts are comparing to way Bush would speak (speak sternly against terrorists/enemies).

He always gives a good speech, whether or not you agree with the substance...

Today, if nothing else, is the celebration of the peaceful transition of power and the fact that the Dream once envisioned by MLK jr. has to some degree come to fruition.

Personally I thought there was a tad too much religious feeling put into the Inaugural, and I feel that Obama and Dianne Feinstein were the only ones who didn't put out some controversial, almost offense stuff.

But for today, we can celebrate the fact that we will no longer have a president who thinks "misunderestimate" is a word.

Yea I heard it the ceremonies were nice but I thought the commentators on some of the channels such as abc got a little annoying talking about what a huge day it is. Yes we know now please stfu.

Grats to Obama, may you protect us as well as Bush did and pull us out of the economic slump.

Farewell Bush you will be missed by those of us that realized you never once dropped your values and you came out the same man you came in and didn't change, and for that you are a great American. You have kept us safe and enjoy retirement!
